Improve Hygiene

Your teenage years are full of life-altering events. Puberty, learning to drive and high school can all consume your every moment. As you grow and develop, a need for good personal hygiene increases. Taking care of your personal hygiene is very important for both your self-esteem and to avoid embarrassment.

General Hygiene for Teens
1. Shower or bathe every day. If you are a teenager who is an athlete, more than one shower a day may be appropriate. By showering daily, you will reduce the smell of underarm odor that starts upon puberty.

2. Shave regularly. Teenage girls generally shave their legs and underarms

4. Brush your teeth each morning and night. Brushing a third time after lunch is ideal, but often not practical. It is also a good idea to carry a small bottle of mouthwash in your purse or vehicle.

5. Brush your hair before going out in public. You don't have to create a masterpiece, but at least comb the bedhead.

6. Wear clean, unwrinkled clothes. Many teenagers haphazardly throw clothes around their rooms and they stay in the spot where they land. Crumpled or dirty clothes should not be worn in public.
